Northern Allegheny Rotary presents:
Wine Down Polio
A charitable event whose purpose is to eradicate polio worldwide. Rotary, along with our partners, has reduced polio cases by 99.9 percent worldwide since our first project to vaccinate children in the Philippines in 1979. We are very close to complete eradication with only a few cases in a few countries remaining.
Join us for a wonderful evening of great wine and exceptional food pairings. Two red and two white wines will be presented and discussed along with a special dessert wine surprise.
We will also be joined by local Pittsburgh artist Cody Sabol (codysabolart.com) who will be painting "LIVE" two paintings of local sports legends from the Penguins and Steelers. The paintings will be auctioned during the event!
And that's not all: a 50/50 (cash drawing) and Basket of Wine Raffle, not to mention some special "Silent Auction" collectible wines (From Enginehouse 25) that guests can bid.
Event proceeds to benefit Polio eradication and local charities equally.
Please Note: If you are purchasing tickets (on-line) for one or more groups and you want to be sure you are seated together, it is important that you let your other parties know which table you have selected. By communicating which table (and seats) you have selected, your friends can also select the same table and any remaining seats so that you are able to be seated together. Otherwise, you may end up seated apart. We have tables that seat 8 and 10 guests. For example: If you were purchasing 4 seats and a friend was also purchasing 4 seats, you would select an available table and choose 4 seats. Next you would have to let your other party know which table you selected. They could then log on and purchase the remaining seats. Caution: If there is a delay between the two purchases, it is possible that the seats may be purchased by a different party. We only emphasize this to ensure that our guests are aware of the logistics when coordinating multiple guests.
